Reply Pass is a review-reply tool for independent restaurants. It is operated by Paul Romeo, doing business as Reply Pass (“Reply Pass,” “we,” “us”).

This page explains what we collect, why, and how to reach us. It is written for restaurant owners — you are the customer. People who leave Google reviews about your restaurant are not our customers.

What the site does today

replypass.com is a marketing site with:

  1. A waitlist — your email, and a restaurant you pick. We email you two or three sample reply drafts later, written from that place’s public Google reviews via Google Places / Place Details. Nothing posts to Google.
  2. A demo inbox that does not connect to Google and does not post anything.

We do not currently connect Google Business Profile, post review replies to a live listing, or take payment on the site. Sections below that start with “When we offer…” describe those features for when they ship. We will not do those things until they are actually on.

Nothing we draft is posted to Google unless you tap approve. We do not auto-post.

Information we collect

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist we collect:

  • The email address you type
  • The time you signed up
  • The restaurant you pick (public name and address from Google Places)

We email that signup to our company inbox at replypass@agentmail.to (sent through AgentMail). We also keep a short list of waitlist emails on our host (Cloudflare) so we can count signups and avoid duplicates.

We use waitlist emails to send you the sample drafts later, to tell you when early access opens, to answer you if you write us, and to run the list. We do not sell the list.

Demo inbox

The demo at /inbox/demo uses sample reviews (not live Google reviews). If you tap Approve or Skip, a first-party cookie named rp-inbox remembers those clicks so the page stays as you left it. That cookie is not used for ads. Nothing is posted to Google from the demo.

If you email us

We keep whatever you send to replypass@agentmail.to so we can reply.

Technical logs

Our host (Cloudflare) may see your IP address, browser, and the page you requested in order to run and protect the site. We do not run advertising cookies or third-party analytics pixels on the current site.

When we offer Google Business Profile connection

This is not live today. If you later connect a location you control, we will receive from Google only what we need to serve you:

  • OAuth tokens so we can read reviews for the locations you choose and, only after you tap Approve, post a reply as that location
  • Review text, star rating, and the reviewer name as Google shows it
  • Our draft, any edit you make, and your Approve or Skip decision

We will not post a reply without your approval. We will not use diner reviews to market to those diners. Google typically does not give restaurants a reviewer’s email; we will not try to get it. You can disconnect. After you disconnect we stop using that connection to read or post.

You must only connect a Google Business Profile you are allowed to manage.

Waitlist sample

After you join the waitlist and pick a restaurant, we later:

  • Use Google Places to identify that restaurant (the listing you pick, or one we match for the sample)
  • Use the public place name and address Google returns
  • Fetch a few public reviews for that place through Google Place Details (the same review text and reviewer name Google already shows the public)
  • Draft two or three sample replies from those public reviews and email them to the address you signed up with

Those drafts are examples only. They are not posted to Google and do not connect a Business Profile. We do not get a reviewer’s email. We keep the restaurant / Place, the public reviews we used, and the sample drafts with your waitlist email so we can send that sample. We do not use any of it to message diners.

When we offer paid accounts

This is not live today. If you later subscribe, payment will go through Stripe. We will not store full card numbers. Stripe’s own privacy policy covers card data. The price we advertise is $49 per location per month, month-to-month, as shown on the site.

How we use information

  • Run the waitlist, send you two or three sample drafts later, and email you when access opens
  • Reply if you write us
  • Remember demo Approve/Skip clicks
  • Keep the site up and deal with abuse
  • When those features exist: draft replies in your voice, show them to you, and post only what you approve; bill a subscription through Stripe

We do not sell your information. We do not sell diner review content. We do not use Reply Pass to message diners.

Who we share with

Only what is needed to run the service:

WhoWhy
CloudflareHosts the site and the waitlist list
AgentMailSends and receives company email, including waitlist notices and the sample-draft email to you
GooglePlaces / Place Details, for the waitlist sample — to identify the restaurant and read a few public reviews. Business Profile, only if you later connect — to read reviews and post replies you approve
StripeOnly if you pay us

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the service from abuse.

Company mail is replypass@agentmail.to. That is the only address we use on this site and for product email.

How long we keep it

  • Waitlist emails: until you ask us to remove yours, or we no longer need the list
  • Waitlist sample: the Place, the few public reviews we fetched, and the sample drafts — with your waitlist email until you ask us to remove them, or we drop the sample
  • Signup emails in our inbox: as part of ordinary inbox mail
  • Demo cookie: up to one year, or until you clear cookies
  • When Google is connected: tokens and location access while the connection is active; we drop tokens after you disconnect. Review text, drafts, and your decisions while your account is active, then we delete or de-identify them within about 30 days after you disconnect or we close the account, unless we must keep a record (for example a dispute)
  • When you pay: Stripe keeps payment records as its rules and tax law require; we keep the fact that you subscribed and which locations you paid for

Restaurant owners and diners

You (the restaurant owner or manager) are our customer.

Diners who leave Google reviews are not our customers. When we read a public review to draft a sample (or, later, a reply you approve), we see what Google already shows the public: the review text and the name on the review. We process that only to serve your restaurant. A diner who wants a review changed or removed should use Google. If someone asks us to delete our copy of a review or draft, email replypass@agentmail.to and we will.

Your choices

Email replypass@agentmail.to to:

  • Get a copy of what we have on you
  • Correct it
  • Remove your waitlist email and the sample (Place, public reviews, drafts) we kept with it
  • Ask us to delete a demo cookie record we can see (you can also clear cookies in your browser)
  • When accounts exist: disconnect Google or close the account

We will not make you stay on the waitlist.

If you are in a place with extra privacy rights (for example California), email us and we will handle the request we can honor. We do not sell personal information.

Children

Reply Pass is for restaurant operators 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Where data is processed

We are in the United States (New Jersey). The site and our email tools run on U.S. services. If you write us from elsewhere, you are sending information to the United States.

Changes

We will change the “Last updated” date at the top when this policy changes. If we start collecting something materially new (for example Google connect or payments), we will update this page before or when that feature goes live. If we have your email, we will also try to tell you.
